NT is better if you know to code or want highly customizable systems to manage trades & you do not let your system go inactive. I like lifetime on NinjaTrader. I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only. Customization in sierra is also amazing. Nothing compares to NinjaTrader's extensive ecosystem of custom indicators and development tools. There are cheaper platforms (SierraCharts) there are better DOM's (Jigsaw Daytradr), but NinjaTrader's advantage is the programming. This is because I use SierraChart and Jigsaw. SierraChart has the most stable data connection and excellent trade copier and most customizable charts. Jigsaw has one of the best DOM. The tradovate unfortunately only allows tradovate or ninjatrader, which has lacking features for me. DOM sucks on both and ninja has efficiency issues.
