Titanfall 2 keeps crashing on launch. I keep getting "file corruption detected , reinstall the game". - this message is false. I used to do the repair function and it would work after it ,but it was taking too long so I decided to try the update function it also made the game work fine. Hey, @OdinBeak make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC. You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Titanfall 2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Owldev113 • 2 yr. ago. You have to have origin or EA desktop open but don’t launch the game through it. Instead you need to launch by running the northstarlauncher.exe as administrator. This will run Northstar. The Northstar launcher thing is in your tf2 folder and remember it needs to be run as administrator.
