If you wish to make it easy for your wife then you will need to create an app. You can easily do this using the TV App Repo to create and app and use the Android TV / Fire OS App Launcher Builder to create a custom icon. Because of it's super lightweight design, thetvapp.to gave a new lease on life for obsolete devices, like old iPads running on iOS 9. Cloudfare effectively cripples such devices. Thankfully, it looks like it's not active right now. I hope the operators refrain from taking this unneeded step and keep things as is!
