18. Dec 23, 2017. #1. Hi every one! I finally decided to fix the door sag on my 67 scout 800. The original door was rusted out and was sagging from it's own weight (or so I thought) the other day I scored a new door off a scout that shut perfectly and alighned flawlesslie. Once I mounted up the new door it sagged worse then the old one!

Nov 26, 2014 · The hinges are original to the Scout ('69) and were not particularly bad but a bit sloppy from all the years. It seemed like such an easy thing to do initially until I started trying to get one out. They are not corroded externally and look pretty good all told. All the phillip countersink screws came out of the A-pillar and doors without issue.
