For the last 4 shots which covers 3 hours I used F/10 15s exp. Total test time ~6 hours. My observations on these models is that Citizens blue lume is very very good. Seikos is also very very good as we know and charges super quick. SL "light blue" is good to very good. Orient is average to good.

A lot of the newer diving watches had this weird lume that looked like blobs of glue. The aesthetic was very poor, a blob of grey glue but what's more worrying is that next to a Tuna the lume looked weak. The lume lasted a good few hours but the hands much dimmer. Why the FXD doesn't suffer with this is a mystery. The 39 is long gone and I don't miss it at all. My Citizen AJ-0100's lume is easily equal to that of my Seiko Black Knight, in longevity. In initial brightness, I believe the edge goes to the Seiko. But after 7 hours of sleep (or thereabouts), the Citizen appears to me to retain more luminosity. Easily readable in the early morning hours.
