I have a JD 1780 16\31 planter that has a wiring issue seedstar with a brown box monitor. the planter has an erratic occurance that at different times i will lose control of frame control the monitor will tell me planter control box has failed and sometimes plant control box is missing. the problem arises when planting and occosianally even when trying to fold or unfold the planter. We haven't had the wheel bearing issues, but it's also not a 16/31 model, which may have been causing the issues with extra weight. I have a 1780 16/31 john deere planter I cannot get the monitor to work all the time. Sometimes it will work very well and then again it will not work at all. It will tell me its planting when it's not and vice versa. I check the circuit with the planter diagnostics and it will tell me it is ok. Answered in 12 hours by:
