New Charles Daly 500 series SxS. Freinds, was in my LGS and they had a 20ga, 28ga and 410 Charles Daly double barrels sitting side by side. These were all single trigger with selector on the safety. Scaled to the cartridge. 20 was 20 size, 28 was smaller you know scaled to the cartridge size. I heard chiappa (Italy) bought the name.

A hundred years ago Charles Daly guns were as good as any in the world, but in recent years their quality has ranged from OK to garbage, depending on who made them. My experience with Charles Daly autos is limited to 2 shots fired at clay targets with a friend's gun. It went "bang", but it felt clumsy.

I done it to my 20 ga. youth pump I have for my youngest. 12 yr. He did not like the pump but he can do clays all day with my Charles daly semi auto. 12 ga. with an adult stock on it. So I went out and put a limbsaver slip on pad on the youth mod. and I will be doing some slug shooting with it to see how it handles.
