This is a nice feature to have, especially for those day trading and want to avoid being flagged as a pattern day trader. This person is incorrect. Regardless of your account size if you do 3 daytrades in a rolling 5 day period you are marked a pattern day trader. Your account is only restricted if it is under 25k though. In other words you can do as many day trades as you want without a restriction but you will hit pdt. Last I heard 25K was the threshold.Account overview-edit visible-day trades.
