This is such bullshit in part of Cadillac, I can literally google Cadillac cue not working and hundreds of people if not more have the same issue. I don’t underhand why Cadillac doesn’t call a recall on this crap. Welcome to CF! This is a common issue with screens prior to 2018. The screen needs to be replaced. It's not too much $$. Can be found at cuescreens.com. Or if you have warranty the Dealer would replace the whole CUE unit but it would most likely fail again. If not, it's worth a shot: 1) With the ignition ON, raise the front panel (faceplate.) 2) Turn the ignition OFF. 3) Open the driver's side door. 4) Wait sixty seconds. 5) Close the driver's side door and start the car. 6) Lower the faceplate. 7) If the reset was successful, you should see the CUE display initializing.
