You ALWAYS operate with very experienced faculty (this is one of the benefits of having no fellows at Stanford (except 1 glaucoma fellow)). Although the financial aid is quite good, there is a $30,000 cap and you have to work as a TA or write research proposals to earn the rest of the money for school (if you don't want to borrow too much money).
