Stranded alien dawn base defense.
I've intentionally delayed putting up defense towers, automated guns, etc and mobs have remained relatively small and pests not as powerful. There will be stronger mobs eventually, but there does seems to be some calculation to mob size & strength based upon your current defense strength.
Nov 21, 2023 · It is fantastic. For me with mech the other base defense became obsolete. They dont need power or maintenance, only repair if damaged and need only metal. Also pretty powerful and need just 3 combat skill to drive. Both mech can leap over obstacles and small distance so you can for example switch position behind fence if swarmed. Any of the improved energy techs is like x20 better than any 2.0 weapon tech. If there were a tier list of breakthrough techs -- weapons 2.0 would be D or C tier. F tier is meat printing :p.
Nov 27, 2022 · Make sure there is at least two empty squares on all areas so the bugs have a clear path to you. Mine usually starts at about 15x10, but I build off it real early. Build it how you want and leave room for expansion. Put your food farms down the sides so the turrets can protect them.
