Change the upper intake manifold, not just its gasket. The LIM gaskets that are most often recommended are the ACDelco metal gaskets. 89017816 is an ACDelco part number for yours but IDK if these are the plastic or the metal ones. Not sure which UIM is best. I used a Dorman UIM and FelPro gaskets on my car and was pleased.
