Honda odyssey side door not closing.
I am having a similar problem with the power doors on both sides of my '07 Odyssey Touring. They hang, stick and pop both when opening and closing, though on closing its more just hanging and not sliding closed without trying several times. Its been suggested that this would be caused by the actuators, but I am unsure if that is the case.

It will close almost all the way and then it stops and reopens, but if you push on the door slightly while it's closing it will close all the way. It just seems to need a little help.

From all appearances, the door is dead. Nothing happens with the door at all with the remotes, the dashboard switches, with the power on/off, or with the inside/outside door handles. The passenger side door works flawlessly. I need to know if I can get this door to close, and just keep using the manual handle until I can get time to fix this.

Jul 2, 2018 · The battery died and locked the driver side sliding door open. The road side mechanic was able to push open the clasp with a metal bar from the spare tire kit. At the bottom of the sliding door is a metal arm which holds the door from closing on you, a small clasp when pushed was able to release the door enough that we could close it manually.
