32. May 8, 2012. #1. Just picked up my Av and the one thing that's a mess is this rear bed drain cover hinge (super rusted and breaking apart when you move it)... The plastic parts all look good and the whole assembly came off the vehicle fine, and i drilled out the pop rivets to try and disassemble the hinge, but that was a no-go as well.That bar is smart enough to know that the window is or isn't in place and auto-magically changes its operation. If the window is in place, turning that knob drops the midgate. The bar with the knob, and the window that it's holding up stay in place.
