Use P and O respectively. Now turn on mining laser and pres P and O and I can aline the reticle with where the laser is striking with the mouse without the ship moving. I have only been able to move the mining laser a limited amount back and forth not up and down. When done just hit P and O and reticle goes back to normal.
I don’t have a workaround other than using a prospector instead. I’m in the same boat so I’ll keep watching this thread.
