TLDR: Revit does not support the long-term well being and quality of life of it's own users, or the needs of the industry. My school finally was absorbed by another making my email defunct so no more downloads for me. Conversely, Revit is pretty clunky for concept development -- especially if there's abstract geometry involved. You can spend a lot of time trying to develop the geometry only to find out that your concept doesn't work as well as you expected. Takes much longer than Sketchup to realize something will or will not work. They are all free and useful especially Sheetlink which lets you export schedules to Excel and then import back to Revit.
