I already own a Shield but the Shield Plus has intrigued me since it came out. I really like the extra capacity and today I finally pulled the trigger. The model 67 was introduced in 1972 at around serial number 2K55997. The full serial number is found on the butt of the grip frame. You will have to remove the grips to see it.
