The new contracts are horrible compared to the old ones (your raises likely wont even keep up with rising minimum wage). Pay better.

What?? here we get 2.5x our normal pay on holidays if we work, and just a regular wage if we have the day off. The 2.5X comes from getting 1.5X plus 1X. At our store if you work the holiday you get time and a half and the 8 hours for the holiday as well.The pay isn’t for a full 8 hours unless you average 40+ hours per week. Usually a part time worker gets 4.8 hours or 6.4 hours per Vac/float day. Float days expire at the end of the calendar year, so make sure you use them up. Vacation can roll over (but there is a limit to how many you can have, so use those up too!).
