Just dont bust up their hideouts and they multiply like catholic bunnies. I recommend roughly: 30% Shieldwall / 40% if no linebreakers: 50/50 both types of Sturgian shielded infantry. 30% forest bandits / 40% if no linebreakers. 20% linebreakers but only if you want to command them separately. Crossbows work well en masse so I'd say 60 Bannerknights and 80 Crossbowmen each split into two groups. If you want infantry go for Imperial Legionaries of Sturgian Spearmen.

It's either max khans guard, or combo of fians and legionary for me. The khans are best at open field, but a well placed slope defense with the foot army can just wipe the floor with anyone.
