Am I losing my mind? B2650 FEL, BH, Snowblower/plow, forks. I'm at 350 hours, and the manual states to change the hydro fluid at 400. I barely used the tractor this year and can most likely get through the winter with using it just 50 hours for snow removal. Last time I changed the hydro fluid was 3 years ago. There is no, 4 years or 400 hour interval recommendation.Ditch the Penzoil for sure!Shell Rotella 10W30 is an excellent conventional motor oil for compact tractors.Kubota's factory fill is 10W30.If you're a synthetic guy,any of the 5W40 diesel oils will be great.The Kubota manuals are woefully out of date on oil specs.Good Luck! 1. I will probably change the mower at 50-100 hours after the first oil change and probably 100 hours on the MX-6000 after the first oil change.

Right under the filter seal is the front axle. I throw a 2-foot piece of tin foil over the axle and shape it into a channel to direct the oil into my drip pan. After the oil drips out I pop the new filter on and carefully unwrap the tin foil.I didn't feel comfortable running old oil (could be 5 years old), so I went ahead and changed it (& engine oil filter).
