If you try this, you may never get your gun apart. A 19X slide will function exactly the same as a 19 slide on a Gen 4 frame. Gen 5 slides for the Glock 19 compacts work the same on a Gen 4 or Gen 5 frame.

So, I'm looking for a recommended aftermarket 19 slide to give me the 45 whenever I want to run that. I saw something on here about Gen 4 slides not being 100% compatible.
