I have been doing research to move from carrying a CZ 75d pcr / S&W M&P shield to a 1911.Trouble is the Wilson finish, like cerokote, is not as durable to holster. Whereas nitride is durable to wear but cannot handle CLP. My opinion is the best option is an ionbond coating like DLC, which is durable re: wear and is fine with CLP.
