Although still ran across one or two weird contract exams, almost all came out in my favor. I was super impressed with my hearing/mental health QTC C&P at one facility, super professional and actually took time and listened. My joint pain/sinusitis/IBS QTC C&P on the other hand at another facility was fucking horrible.
QTC under rated my Sciatica and Lumbosacral fracture as mild or 10%. VA overrode QTC and rated bilateral sciatica 20% and Lumbosacral 40% based on “objective” nerve conduction studies, range of motion and MRI’s QTC had access to. Exam was conducted at a small clinic. As soon as I walked in they knew I was there for LHI. Appointment was scheduled for 1 pm and I was taken back at exactly 1 pm. Jul 17, 2023 #27. An ACE exam is an Acceptable Clinic Evidence exam, sometimes called a records review. If you already had all your C&P exams it's probable that the VA had some issue with one or more of them and sent them back for further development / clarification. I've personally seen it happen when the examiner didn't clearly opine on service connection.
