I believe the next major story mission you can do is Veilbreaker and doing that unlocks the Khal weekly quest which gives you access to lots of cool stuff (and lots of sentients to dunk on). Edit: People did this before that content was in the game, probably through the sentient anomaly in Veil Proxima or something similar.
