I'd think you could easily make the same power with a BBC for $12-15k using a used aluminum block and heads, that should be relatively easy to find.

Sure you can put bigger turbos on and make more power or run a smaller motor but a 427 with this setup would be a great street setup. I purchased the eastwood professional brake tubing flaring tool with the 45 & 37 degree die sets. It works badass but doesn't do 1/2 inch.

Mr. Hipster. I got a 400 brake trans in years back, had a single feed direct drum with a .110 bleed hole. The green waffle directs were OK and the steels were shiney, learned me that there's a lot of volume feeding that circuit. The brake was a early first design type with a 1/4" dia. copper tube by the manual valve bore.
