Tour buses, fast food places and souvenir shops. Luzern is far prettier and is situated ON a lake (Interlaken isn't) and is an ideal base to use for travel in central Switzerland.It is also entirely Swiss. And Luzern is a nice small city and there are several villages in the area, also on the lake, that might make a good base.
