I believe the Dual Class rules specifically call out Fighter/Barbarian and Fighter/Ranger but pretty much any Fighter/Martial is a problem. Next to Dual Class, Free Archetype is fairly tame. In the hands of a proper munchkin it might unlock some spicy options, but in general it just adds to the versatility of characters rather than their raw power.
