Charlemagne has better damage in CQs and can protect an ally in a fight, while Majin Saber is a better farmer, has better cards, removes defensive buffs, and is generally easier to use. This isn’t the kind of thing that’s ever going to be optimal (except for Nemo, occasionally), but it’s interesting enough to make her a fun tool to bring for variety if that kind of thing interests you. Tametomo may not be a great unit mechanically, but he’s pretty interesting, at least, and he’s conceptually very cool. Unfortunately for Tametomo, there are a lot of AoE Buster Archers, and Tametomo’s kit is not exactly well-suited to the current ...In a better kit it could be very good. A 3-turn 30% buff on a 5-turn CD is standard, and this one scales up to 70% at max on turn 3. It is, in a sense, a 50% 3-turn buff on average, which should be strong. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work well with Nobu’s kit. Contrasting with Summer Anastasia, Summer Corday fits into an underserved niche. ST Casters are a rarity in FGO, and strong ST Casters are even rarer.While she has a mix of interesting utility and distinct effects, Corday is ultimately most notable for being a conventionally strong ST unit in the Caster class.While low attack on an offensive servant is disappointing, the stat spread fits perfectly with Cleo’s sustain-oriented kit, so it’s somewhat forgivable. Cleo’s NP gain is absurdly good. Her Arts card is fairly typical for her deck, at 2.12%, but her Quicks are excellent at 4.24% and her Extra is a ridiculous 6.36%.

It’s a variant on Arash’s NP in that it deals AoE damage with an ST multiplier and then kills a unit—though in Chen’s case it’s not himself but rather the ally in the first party slot (or the third, if Chen occupies the first himself) who dies.

While the stinger requirement isn’t fun, it’s considerably easier than many other recent servants, and the rest of his stuff is super easy to get ahold of. All of Lanling’s skills are fantastic for his support role. Recommended skill order is 3>2>1. -Mask is a cross between Protection from Arrows and Charisma.

The overcharge effect is also nigh-useless against bosses. The best thing about this NP, though, is the party debuff clear. Party debuff clears are actually quite rare, and Shiki’s Arts focus and pretty good NP gain means she can use it fairly regularly. This can be quite helpful for certain challenge quests.
