Recently had the oil changed and the carbs cleaned and it runs as good as the day I bought it new. This bike is almost bulletproof.

We had to do some minor cr@p like a speedo shim, new tire, fan switch but it runs like a bat out of hell!!! I love it so to me it is worth it!!! LIVE, LAUGH, RIDE! Straight Piped.

On the 1500, the service manul says a special tool is need to pull the spark plug tubes, but you can fashion a tool out of the rear axle nut and unscrew the tube. I'd bet the 800 is similar.
