How to make amiibos with nfc tags.
The files are Amiibo files for Animal Crossing villagers. My goal is to use my phone to emulate an Amiibo so that it can be read by my Switch. The way I'm doing this so far is having the phone "write" the data to an NFC tag (that I do not have), then holding it over my Switch when prompted to place the Amiibo. This, unfortunately, isn't working.

I just lack a hole punch, and really don't feel like cutting out small circles. A bit late with this post; but I purchased the round NFC stickers and stuck them onto a keychain tag. Then I printed the Amiibo image onto an Avery round sticker and placed that on top of the sticker. Then I placed a clear Avery round sticker onto that.
You need a NFC reader. I'm using a ACR122U, but it should work with any other model. The interface is pretty simple, you click "Read" to read the NTAG215 memory map and click "Write" to write the selected BIN file. The "Info" tab at the top shows the NFC Reader detected and the ATR of the NFC tag (for those of you who know what to do with it).
