You don't need that heavy weight oil, 20w50. Stick with the 10w40 full or semi syn. Any full or semi syn oil will be superior to regular oil.

It does not say specifically that motorcycle oil should be used nor does it specify synthetic vs. regular. I also do not know whether SG or other grades of oil would be better.

I personally use Rotella 15W-40, it costs $10 a gallon, and if can make diesel engines last 300,000 miles it works good enough for my bike.
