You can do this in Trade Armor in Active Trader Pro or the web site. On the web site go to the chart for a stock you own, then click Set Exit Plan near the Buy/Sell buttons. You can set a Sell Bracket (OCO). The OCO stands for One Cancels the Other. You define an upper limit price and a lower price (lower can be stop, limit, or trailing stop). ATP's Trade Armor does not always update current position tab data or the graphical representation of gain/loss relative to an accurate basis (green or red shading on current price range). Fidelity wants WL users to employ ATP to post their trades so they're better informed when making trading decisions. And adding a COM interface to ATP will help facilitate that goal. Active Trader Pro: Can an OCO (bracket) order be placed GTC ? I like the Trade Armor feature in ATP but it appears a one-cancels-the-other order can't be placed overnight, I get a "Trade Service Error" response when selecting GTC instead of Day on a Bracket order. Is that expected? (If so, I wonder why they give me the option in the first place.)Day works, GTC doesn't. I'm half expecting to find out I broke it somehow but not sure what I could have done to affect that. This year old post is all I can find on this.
