Jul 10, 2012 · Hi there everybody!! I'm new to the site as you can tell and I ha a little question.. Can you put 35s on a truck with stock gears and have it still be a good trail rig? If not, can you post up pictures of a 77-79 F-150 with a 4" lift with 33" tires? Thanks!

This allows clearance in the fender wells for larger tires; however, the frame, engine, and transmission do not get lifted. A suspension lift will adjust the geometry of the truck's suspension to raise the frame and everything connected to it.

Here's mine w/ 37" Military Humvee take-offs: I'll be running 37s next, but the aftermarket bumpers give a lot more clearance and my lift springs move the axle forward slightly for more fender clearance. I am actually running 38 x 15.5 x 20 on a 4 inch lift.
