It was a new sensor, just put it on yesterday evening. The Dexcom measures interstitial fluid, not blood - which for most people runs about 15-ish minutes behind blood glucose. So, unless you've been super steady for a good period of time, it's perfectly normal for the Dexcom to be 10 - 20% off of your fingerstick.
