May 26, 2016 · Crystal Infused Plating is even better than shields. +100 HP, compared to +125 shields, but the +HP has no weaknesses, whereas shields are bypassed by Torps, and take extra damage from Disruptors. In addition shields take power, while Plating requires none, so you can get more Plating than Shields. I love my Crystal Infused Plating
