Tradovate is decent for beginners since it's pretty low barrier to entry. Just know that NinjaTrader costs a good amount for you to use all their services but the charting and scripting features it offers are very nice. Usually with most futures brokers you can pay a monthly/annual fee so that you pay lower or no commissions per trade.

Working orders will be filled if they were sent before the outage. If you got filled with a bracket order auto-attached at the time of trade execution, you're good. I've been thinking the same thing. This is all Ninjatrader's doing, their systems are ALSO down, just after they released something new.Tradovate and TS have pros and cons. TradeStation software is much more powerful. Their desktop app only runs on Windows though. Their mobile app is good although wouldn't really ever want to be trading on a phone.
