Sep 22, 2022 · Update: unplugging the Roku device, waiting about 15-30 seconds and replugging into power source does fix the crashing issue. So think hard reset. However, I find it strange that this behavior only happens when using the Prime Video app. It did not/has not happened with any of the other various apps I have in my menu. This was on an 4660x ethernet ultra, I did not check the other devices yet. I did not do any channel uninstalling. This is most definitely a Prime Video channel bug and will most likely be corrected/fixed without any user action. I haven't experienced this on any of my Stick 3600 or Stick 3800 devices. What I do experience is that Prime Video FF / RW is stupidly hard to control b/c it goes too fast! My 3700 Roku was working fine with Amazon until recently. Movies stop every few minutes on Amazon Prime. My internet connection is business level and speeds are plenty fast enough.
